
It was OK for virtually anything EXCEPT Fusion, because Fusion would take forever to load, and then when it did, the display was very laggy, workspace would continually go black and stay black until you tapped a key or panned/zoomed etc… and things like importing a complex DXF to use as a Sketch took a really long time to draw, or manipulate, or basically anything. Turns out it has barely the recommended processor (CAD typically relies on at least 3.0GHZ or so to be truly useful) and it only had two Samsung 8GB dimms for a total of 16GB RAM. His son told him ' get a gaming laptop and it should be fine', so he ended up with a MSI laptop from Costco.
